
The Gathering
would like to subcontract
your bus while you are
in New Orleans.
Each
day of the Gathering 12,000
participants will be
venturing into the city of
New Orleans for service
experiences. For safety,
stewardship, and
environmental reasons,
all
transportation to the
service sites will be
provided by the Gathering
and coordinated by the Justice Travel Crew.
This is a
massive task, and we need
your help! This may also
be an opportunity to reduce your bus rental or
lease costs with your bus
vendor. We need
300 busses each day
to move people
between service sites in the
city. There
are not enough busses
available in the New Orleans area, so
the Justice Travel Crew is
asking congregations and
synods that will be renting
or leasing busses to subcontract
their busses to the
Gathering on July 23, 24
and 25, 2009. (This
would be an arrangement made
with your bus company.)

congregation or synod will
be traveling by bus, please

(fillable PDF).
Before filling in the
information, please contact
your bus company to see if
they are willing to
subcontract your bus(ses).

(same as below). It is helpful if
you fill out this form even
if your company is NOT
willing to subcontract
busses.

company directly (if

primary leader (if bus

given) with details and to
secure the contracts.
