The MYLE Logo Contest

Yes, that’s right, we are calling on youth participants of MYLE to submit artwork for their own event! The logo artwork must reflect the theme and theological background of the Multicultural Youth Leadership Event. It should also be something that we can fit nicely on a t-shirt, Web sites, and a variety of publications!

Artwork may be submitted to rod.boriack@elca.org  before September 1, 2008. The young person’s artwork that is selected for the MYLE logo will receive one free individual MYLE registration. Selections will be made by a group representing the MYLE planning team, Multicultural Advisory Committee (MAC), and ELCA Youth Ministry staff.

Please follow the following simple guidelines in submitting artwork:

	Logo artwork must reflect and grow out of the theme and theological background of MYLE: God is Key: Open your Hearts and Step to His Beat.
	Logo art must be adaptable for use on t-shirts, banners, print publications, and Web sites.
	For examples of logos, as opposed to illustrations or other kinds of artwork, do a Google image search.
	Logos using color will also need to have a version that can be rendered in black and white.
	The selected logo may be subject to some reworking and tweaking by a graphic artist.
	Please submit original art as a high resolution JPEG or PDF file attached to an email to rod.boriack@elca.org. Include in the text of the email your full name, age, mailing address, phone number, and your congregation's name. 	Be sure to keep copies of your logo artwork for yourself! Submissions for the contest will not be returned.
	All entries will be notified by September 12, 2008 (right before Gathering and MYLE registration opens).
