I'm 22 years old, and I'm currently living and teaching in Wuhan -- Hubei Province -- China. Wuhan is situated along the Yangtze River-- the third longest river in the world. It's known as one of China's "ovens," which means both weather and food temperatures can be ridiculously hot. My school is Huazhong Normal University, and I teach Freshmen and Sophomore Oral English while taking Chinese classes on the side. I'll stay in China until July, when I will return to the US and and start grad school at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA.

In China my free-time interests include shopping and bargaining, exploring the city, hiking, trying new foods, weekend trips to Beijing or Hong Kong, and the ever popular event in China -- all-night karaoke.
