The Church as Community

The Holy Spirit forms a unique community in the world called the church. Not institution. Not organization. Not denomination. The language is important. This community begets and bears every Christian through the Word of God. What is handed down from the tradition of the Bible comes in a variety of memorable efforts of Christians to hear the word of God in the Bible and apply it to communities through the centuries.
