Baptism

The understanding that baptism is a daily dying and rising means the Christian life is not a dreary struggle to reach perfection, to have no doubts, to always look good or to maintain a religious high. Rather, each day we receive the gift of salvation, live honestly as saints and sinners, and recognize that we are human creatures, touched by God’s mysterious and unfathomable grace.
