Creator God, through the gift of your Holy Spirit, you created
and continue to sustain, enliven, and renew your church. Use our
offerings to the Vision for Mission Fund to further witness to
your faith and to further enliven our mission around the world.
Lord,
in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Creator Spirit, all that we possess comes from your living hand.
Give us the grace and generosity that we may honor you with what
we own, remembering all the people of the world who are in need
of our support through the Vision for Mission Fund. Lord,
in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Generous and gracious God, remember all the people of the world
who are not blessed with the gifts which we have been given.
Help us to remember the less fortunate, to enable us to bless
them with gifts, and take away from us all greediness. Enable us
not only to support the Vision for Mission Fund, but also to
remember the poor and the hungry in our prayers and actions.
Lord, in your mercy,
hear our prayer.
OFFERTORY
Gracious God, each Sunday we give what we can for the work of the
church and through the church for the needs of the world. Now
the Spirit calls us to go one more step, especially for the sake
of making Christ known for the healing of the world and its
peoples. Today, we give thanks for twenty years of ministry
together. Encourage us to support and strengthen the many
ministries of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Thank
you for giving us the spirit of partnership in mission. In the
name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
