Welcome synod treasurers and bookkeepers to the ELCA Office of the Treasurer Web pages specifically intended for your use. We hope to fill these pages with information that will help you carry out your role as treasurers and bookkeepers.

Synods are requested to submit certain financial information to the churchwide offices at various times throughout the year. These pages are to assist you in the gathering and submission of this data. Information is grouped into two major categories: Synod Budget Forms,  Synod Remittance Process. 

In addition, the ELCA Constitution mandates that synods send a copy of their audited financial statements annually to the churchwide organization.  The statements are to be sent to the attention of the ELCA Treasurer.
