Microsoft is now offering
not-for-profit organizations with Section 501(c)3 status
substantial savings by purchasing through the new Microsoft Charity
Open License Program. CDW has been authorized by Microsoft to sell
software using this program.
CDW already has a list of ELCA-related organizations that are a part
of the ELCA’s group exemption. All ELCA Synods are on this list. Any
organization not on this list will have to provide proof of their
exemption to CDW before they can order any of these products. A call
to CDW will verify your inclusion on the list.
Your initial purchase must be for at least five software licenses.
You can combine software titles in order to meet the purchasing
requirement. After the initial purchase of five licenses, subsequent
orders do not have a minimum purchase requirement. The titles are
listed on a separate sheet attached to this memo and are also
available on the CDW website. NOTE: The special Microsoft pricing
is for the license only. Media kits for installation and training
manuals are sold separately and are available through CDW with the
ELCA volume discount price.
If you need to upgrade a current version of software, check with CDW
for current pricing options. For upgrades or new purchases, you will
want to order the media kit (CD) for installation for each title
that is ordered. You can do multiple installations with the same CD.
Some products will require a key code for installation.
