Synod Transitions
Elections of Synod
Bishops are held every six years at their annual synod assemblies. Along
with a new bishop may come changes in staffing, procedures, vision, and
planning. In order to assist synods with these transitions, the
Synodical Relations unit hosts a New Bishops Orientation for newly elected bishops and offers assistance and guidance to synod staff.
