Steps to Use This Unit

Step 1 (to begin):

- Read the Introduction
- Order the DVD:
         Send a check for $5 and complete mailing address to:
         ELCA - 10-10-80 DVD
         8765 West Higgins Road
         Stewardship Office - 9th Floor
         Chicago, IL 60631

         800-638-3522 ext. 2555

- Order a 10-10-80 zipper pull, washable tattoo, or bracelet as
   a take-home reminder for the students

Step 2 (a month in advance):
Distribute the Letter to Church Council
Step 3 (two weeks in advance)

Distribute the Letter to Parents
Step 4 (a week in advance)
Give the Students’ Quiz and assign activity #3 from the Student Guide

Step 5 (the night of the class)
- Do the Student Guide

- Use the Instructor Guide for background

- Pick an Additional Activity if there’s time
Step 5 (afterwards)

- Give the Students’ Quiz again

- Complete the Unit Evaluation

- Share your ideas on teaching stewardship to youth
