A Social Statement on Genetics The Evangelical Lutheran
Church in America is preparing a social statement that addresses
issues in genetics and biotechnology which was authorized by the
2005 Churchwide Assembly. The 2011 Churchwide Assembly, it is
anticipated, will consider the proposed social statement. This is
the place to learn about its development and to find resources for
thinking about the issues. Remain informed about the work of the
task force by regular visits to this Web site.
