Our Calling in Education: A Lutheran Study, published in January 2005, was prepared by the ELCA Task Force on Education for study and discussion in our church.  Members had until October 1, 2005 to respond to the study.  People interested in a more lengthy development of topics in the first draft of the social statement can consult this study.
