Nomination Online Forms

  • Church Council nominations are made  by synodical assemblies [on a rotating basis] with no additional nominations permitted at the Churchwide Assembly;
  • Synods not making nominations for Church Council will alternately make nominations to Program Committees;
  • Multicultural Ministries Program Committee nominations will be made by the ELCA ethnic associations; and
  • Additional "at large" nominations to churchwide boards and committees are also provided to the Nominating Committee for consideration.

Since the Nominating Committee has done its work and produced its report, nominations are suspended until the beginning of the 2009 Churchwide Assembly, August 17--23, 2009, when nominations from the floor of the assembly will be accepted.

Nominations for the 2009 Churchwide Assembly Nominating Committee review should be received no later than February 27, 2009.
