Nomination Online Forms

  • Church Council nominations are made  by synodical assemblies [on a rotating basis] with no additional nominations permitted at the Churchwide Assembly;
  • Synods not making nominations for Church Council will alternately make nominations to Program Committees;
  • Multicultural Ministries Program Committee nominations will be made by the ELCA ethnic associations; and
  • Additional "at large" nominations to churchwide boards and committees are also provided to the Nominating Committee for consideration.

Nominations for the 2009 Churchwide Assembly Nominating Committee review should be received no later than February 27, 2009.

Please use the applicable nomination form below. We encourage you to complete the on-line form, however, a paper form can be printed and submitted by U.S. mail service to: Nominations, c/o Office of the Secretary, 8765 W Higgins Road, Chicago, IL 60631-4101.
