Housing close

ELCA youth will adopt entire city blocks, cleaning up yards, painting buildings, planting new shrubs, and doing whatever is needed to create homes, schools, and churches that are livable again. We will be working with Habitat for Humanity, the St. Bernard Project, Beacon of Hope, and housing projects sponsored by our ecumenical partners. All of the work tools that youth use will be donated to neighborhood tool sheds for long-term use by local residents and organizations to maintain their homes, parks, schools, and churches.
