I. A Century in Madagascar
Stan QuanbeckSynopsis: American Lutheran missionaries like Stan and Kathie Quanbeck have been working in Madagascar for 100 years. In fact it was Stan's grandparents who began a legacy that helped build an entire Lutheran Church. In this MOSAIC we travel to Madagascar to trace the Quanbeck roots to their beginnings in the 19th century.

II. Help the Children
child marches in churchSynopsis: "Help the Children" is one of seven ELCA "Initiatives for a New Century." MOSAIC visits Holy Spirit Lutheran Church on Chicago's south side to see how one congregation is inviting neighborhood young people to become "Children of the Light."

III. Investing in the Church
Synopsis: "Investing in the Church" is the story of Texas ranchers Ada and Alvin Stasny and their congregation, St. John's. When Ada and Alvin began investing in the Mission Investment Fund of the ELCA, they had no idea the fund would one day help St. John's build a new sanctuary, but that is exactly what happened.
