I. Outreach: A Window to Victory
Pastor HelmanSynopsis: In 1995 voting members to the ELCA Churchwide Assembly in Minneapolis helped create a faceted glass window for Feast of Victory Lutheran Church in Acme, Michigan. There, a new building awaited its arrival. More than a work of art, the window and the building itself symbolize the miracles that can happen when individuals, congregations, synods and the whole Church work together through Mission Partners and Mission Builders.

II. A Lutheran School California Style
Shelia Huber and daughterSynopsis:  Christian Education is a part of every ELCA congregation. More than a quarter million children ages three to eighteen spend their day in Lutheran schools. The need for Christ centered education has never been more important. Grace Lutheran Church in Huntington Beach, California is an example of an ELCA congregation that is deeply committed to Christian education.

Bosnian womanSynopsis: Conflict in the former Yugoslavia seems worlds away. Serbs, Croatians, Bosnians. Few understand why violence erupted almost five years ago. The policy of "ethnic cleansing" has forcibly displaced thousands of people. Since 1991, the ELCA has teamed with Hungarian Inter-Church Aid, providing shelter, food, hope.
