Loan Policy for Lutheran Center Staff
- Materials in the ELCA Library collection
circulate for four weeks and may be renewed.
- Back issues of periodicals circulate; the
current issue remains in the Library. Photocopies may be made of
individual articles.
- Our interlibrary loan service can retrieve
books and articles from libraries all over the world.
- Items belonging to the ELCA Archives do not
circulate; please contact the Archives by by
e-mail or by
telephone at 847.690.9410 for assistance with archival collections.
Loan Policy for the Public
You may borrow materials from the ELCA Library
by requesting an interlibrary loan transaction through your local
public, academic, or special library. Most libraries participate in OCLC
(Online Computer Library Center) for processing interlibrary loan
transactions. If your local library is not a participant, they may
initiate a written request by mail or fax for interlibrary loan. There
is no charge for interlibrary loan. You may borrow materials for four
weeks.

visit the ELCA Archives, they are located at 321 Bonnie Lane, Elk Grove
