Instructions for Enrolling a Participant in HTH Worldwide

Preferred Health Plan Evangelical Lutheran Church in America

College or Seminary must enroll the participant

Go to the HTH Wordwide Web site and follow these instructions: 

  • Click on Products & Services (top of the screen)                          
  • Click on Group under International Study:
  • Scroll down to Web Sites
  • Click on HTHAdvisors.com (Bookmark this blue-green screen by clicking FAVORITES and click on ADD to your Favorites at the top; when you click on Favorites the next time you can automatically click on HTH and it will pull up this screen)
  • Click on Create a Roster (center of the green screen)
  • Enter User Name & Password: (use lower case letters)
    • (Colleges and Seminaries: if not yet assigned or need to change your USER NAME &         PASSWORD, e-mail Kelley Mayer, ELCA Account Manager at kmayer@hthworldwide.com
  • Click Submit
  • Click the letter of your roster name at the top in Sub Group Directory:
  • Click on the name of your College or Seminary
  • Click on Create a New Roster; choose your Roster Name
  • Click on Roster Name; Click on Add a Participant
  • Fill in the blanks for each individual (change defaults as necessary; remember to use all 4 digits for the year)
  • Re: Visas--click the drop down box and click on J for students, researchers, and professors
  • Cost is $148/mo for participant; $370/mo for spouse; $222mo. for child; or $444/mo. for children
  • Click Next. The entry automatically defaults to no payment submitted
  • Click Submit button at the bottom of the page
  • The screen will go back to ROSTER
  • You may now exit the program to later go in and add to the Roster later, or you may submit the Roster
  • Click on Submit Roster button next to the Add a Participant button when you are ready to submit enrollments. 
  • In about 48 hours or less you will be able to print the ID card, the invoice, and the Certificate of Insurance, etc., as needed.  A confirmation will be e-mailed back to you.

To Renew or Cancel

  • Follow instructions through clicking on the name of your college or seminary.
  • At the top of the screen next to Rosters, Click Enrolled Students
  • Double Click Name to alphabetize names; Double Click other headings to place in chronological order if desired
  • Click on Renew or Cancel under each person’s name and enter appropriate information; submit as appropriate

When contacting HTH Worldwide, try using the e-mail before using the phone.  You’ll receive better service.  The employees are scattered throughout the United States so it saves a lot of telephone transferring. 

HTH Worldwide currently mails an ID card and an Invoice after the enrollments are complete.  Explanation of Benefits (EOB) copies as received are forwarded to you.
