(by Church World Service)
An interactive, educational resource
that simulates the daily struggles of impoverished people. |

Youth Gathering (2003) participants
will remember U-Ball,
interactive volleyball and dodgeball sponsored by the ELCA World
Hunger Appeal and Lutheran World Relief. Young people
played with "handicaps" - both too many material goods and too
few (plus other things that make it really hard for people who
are poor to escape poverty). You can run a U-Ball session
or tournament at youth "lockdowns" or other meetings. |

The
next gathering will be in New Orleans,
Louisiana,
July 22-26, 2009.
