Directions:  Use this list of simple ideas as a conversation starter towards the end of your shared reading of Sustaining Simplicity.  Each sentence or idea might represent a thought, feeling or activity that animates God’s people to live joyfully and with contentment.  Perhaps you can add to the list.

1.  I’m ready to do something else with my life.
2.  If something’s really silly or worse, why pay attention to it?
3.  A bunch of us were talking, and we thought that maybe . . . .
4.  So how are things working out for you, really?
5.  Imagine how it would feel to name your own daily schedule every day.
6.  What’s useful here?
7.  Hey, want to work with me on something important?
8.  Had enough?
9.  If you need it, you have my permission to try something new.
10.  If everything’s urgent, nothing’s important.
11.  Wow!  Would you listen to this . . . ?
12.  Tell me what you have in mind.
13.  No, you’re not the only one who thinks like this.
14.  What do you have to lose?
