Planned Giving

Although most people choose to give directly to ELCA World Hunger Appeal, there is a way to donate through your estate planning.  We have several brochures to help you give through your will.

In addition, it is possible to give now and receive an income for life through plans such as:

  • charitable gift annuities
  • deferred payment charitable gift annuities
  • charitable remainder trusts
  • pooled income funds

A life income gift can be an opportunity for you to meet your own living costs and, at the same time, assure that people who are hungry will be fed.  These gifts can be funded with cash, stock, bonds, or real estate.

Make a major or planned gift

It is also possible to use these assets to give major annual gifts to ELCA World Hunger Appeal.

You might prefer to give your gift through the ELCA World Hunger Appeal Endowment Fund.  This will ensure that your loving concern will continue to be shown far into the future.
