Imanuel Indonesian Congregation has been meeting at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Newington, New Hampshire, for five years. Under the leadership of their dedicated pastor, The Rev. Robert Waworuntu, they have grown to almost 100 members, mostly recent immigrants from Indonesia. In January 2006, they were designated as a “new ministry start,” becoming one of five Indonesian congregations in the ELCA.

"Happy Sunday" is the greeting you will hear as you are welcomed with a smile from just about everyone who comes to worship at 2:30 on Sunday afternoons. The experience is joy-filled and enriching. It is encouraging to see lots of babies and children in worship, taking leadership roles, whether singing, playing one of many different kinds of instruments, and/or taking part in a children's sermon. Teens gather in the narthex after worship, guitars in hand, having their own jam sessions. Everyone loves to be at church and the fellowship goes on for hours.
