The vision of the Fund for Leaders is to provide support to all qualified students preparing for ordained or rostered lay ministry through one of the eight ELCA seminaries. Since 2000, the Fund for Leaders has awarded 280 tuition scholarships totaling over $3,000,000 in tuition assistance.  more

Today, your gift goes further. 

Our goal is to double the Fund by the year 2010 to double our capacity for supporting future leaders, on the way to our ultimate goal of supporting every ELCA seminary student.  Thanks to several generous friends, the Fund for Leaders is pleased to announce a three-year, million-dollar matching gift challenge.  For every $2 gift, $1 will be matched, increasing your total gift to $3. You can play an integral part in the process of calling and supporting the next generation of leaders.  more
