Memorial Endowment Funds

For over a hundred years the ELCA and its predecessor churchbodies have endowed future ministries through Memorial Endowment Funds.  The ELCA Endowment Fund includes over a thousand funds that benefit all ministry expressions of the church (congregational, local ministries, synodical, colleges, seminaries & churchwide ministries).

Memorial endowment funds may be funded with current outright gifts or by testamentary beneficiary designations of charitable remainder gifts, wills, life insurance or qualified retired plans.
