The Mentoring Partnership

We all have had someone mentor us at some stage of our lives, whether in a formal or informal way. A mentoring relationship has become a life-line of support for many first call leaders over the past ten plus years of the FCTE program. A resource describing this relationship and the roles and responsibilities of those involved is available. Called "The Mentoring Partnership," this resource connects this experience to Scripture and Lutheran tradition. It also provides very practical suggestions for synods and first call leaders in matching mentoring partnerships, training of mentors and covenanting for such partnerships.

Additional resources are also suggested as well as forms for covenanting and evaluating the partnerships.
