| The "Next Step"
Stations or learning centers are designed to complement the theme as
they nurture a sense of continuity between baptism and discipleship.
Each of the five crafts and activities highlight a characteristic of
baptism and/or discipleship. The activities are intended to help
children, youth and adults nurture their understanding of Baptism as
an entry point to lifelong discipleship. They celebrate the
spiritual significance of being a Child of God and address the
privileges and responsibilities that go along with it.
Note: You may have participants who
are not baptized. Be sure to assure them of God's loves for them and
encourage them to talk with your pastor if they are interested in
being baptized or becoming a child of God.
