Beyond that, you are on your own. Transportation, food, recreational options and devotional content are up to your own group leaders.

Dream Catchers

We are called to love and serve our neighbor but who is our neighbor? Together we will work to discover what it means to serve our neighbor as we shingle, sheetrock, paint and clean in the homes of a few families from the Fort Berthold Reservation. In the evenings, we will hear from special guests who will share about traditions and history within the Native American community. Grow in Faith this week through serving and understanding.

Summer Servant Train

Each Sumner, we take a group to a different city across the nation. We travel by train or bus, see the sights, and serve together in places of need around our country. Past trips include Chicago and New York City, it's a new location every year. We will seek out places of need in the cities we attend and try to love and serve people there as Jesus would. This is a great opportunity for youth groups looking for something for a summer mission trip or for individuals who want to meet new friends and help people at the same time.

Common Ground

We pair metro/suburban youth with rural youth groups in order to actively learn about rural culture, justice and environmental concerns. Youth experience service projects in rural communities, farm visits, Bible study worship and more. Youth identify with the people who grow and process our food as well as better understand how food is produced and how difference methods of agriculture impact the environment, world economy and human health. In the process youth experience God in creation, form lasting relationships and encourage partnership between metro and rural parishes.
