General Preliminary Information Registration Registration for the 2007 Churchwide Assembly is now closed. Visitors may register on site to attend the sessions. Facilities The assembly will be convened at Navy Pier (map) and the Hyatt Regency Chicago (map) is the host hotel for the assembly. Please do not call the hotel directly for reservations. You will have an opportunity to request hotel reservations when you complete your registration materials. Transportation Transportation (including handicap accessible shuttles) will be provided between the Hyatt Regency and Navy Pier, as well as to both O'Hare International and Midway airports. Please follow these guidelines, to arrange for the shuttle service from and to the airports Air Travel Please wait to make airline reservations until you have received registration materials. Voting members and advisory members must make travel arrangements with Best Travel. Information on contacting this travel service and the steps for making your reservation will be described in registration materials. Driving Cars will not be needed during the Churchwide
Assembly. Voting members and advisory members who drive to Chicago are
encouraged to park free of charge at the Lutheran Center, then take the
shuttle service provided to the Hyatt Regency. Parking passes are
required---watch for details and driving directions in your Churchwide
Assembly registration materials. |
