The Personal Papers Collection of the ELCA Archives comprises papers collected by the Churchwide Archives and its predecessors. Collections are from pastors of the ELCA and its predecessors, presidents of predecessor church bodies, lay Lutheran leaders, missionaries, authors, and women leaders. Individual collections vary in size (from one folder to more than 100 boxes) and scope (from a specific event to spanning a person’s life). Many are currently unprocessed but still accessible to researchers. Please contact  the ELCA Archives for additional information on these collections.
