Dr. Anna Sarah Kugler at Bible Study

Dr. Anna Kugler is shown (standing far right in back) at the dispensary taking a break from her medical work to participate in a Bible study class in Guntur in the late 1880’s. The women are identified as being of low caste, however Dr. Kugler’s work also touched those of higher castes, such as the Rajah of Ellore and his family.
