Lutheran Woman's Work, 1908

The first of many magazines published by Lutheran Women’s organizations was Lutheran Woman’s Work, which with the others is succeeded by Lutheran Women Today. The first editorial in 1908 said, “Lutheran women have ever shown themselves ready and willing to work and sacrifice for their loving Master, and Lutheran Woman’s Work is launched to chronicle, develop, encourage and unite their efforts in missionary enterprise.”
