Contains brief but comprehensive essays on the history of all Lutheran churches in the
world, in both traditional sending countries and traditional receiving countries.
Excellent introduction.

Shows the interrelatedness of Lutheran endeavors worldwide, including those
ecumenically linked.

1965. Three volumes, each over 800 pp.
Contains articles on the development of churches around the world under the categories
