United Lutheran Church

  United Lutheran Church, a member of the Norwegian Lutheran Church of America, was organized on December 14, 1925 by the merger of Bethlehem, St. Paul English and Our Savior's Lutheran Churches. United Lutheran continued to use Bethlehem's 1912 building at Springfield Ave. and Iowa St.

A new facility at Ridgeland Ave. and Greenfield St. in Oak Park was constructed beginning in 1927, with dedication held November 11, 1928.
