Hauges Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Church was organized in
1900, as a daughter of Trinity Lutheran and a member of
the Hauge's Synod. It was located at Wabansia Ave. and N. Central Park Ave. from 1901.In 1991 Hauge Lutheran merged with St. Mary Lutheran Church to form Esperanza de Santa Maria (St. Mary's Hope), which continued to use Hauge's building on N. Central Park Ave.
