English Ev. Lutheran Church of the Ascension
The English Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Ascension was organized on September 1, 1912 by the merger of St. Andrew's English Evangelical Lutheran Church and Cuyler English Evangelical Lutheran Church. Both St. Andrew's and Cuyler had been mission congregations of the Northern Illinois Synod of the General Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Ascension was located at 1901 W Cornelia.
It dissolved on March 22, 1998.
