Association of
Lutheran Resource Centers

Who We Are

Resource centers are vital links between the resource-producing units of the ELCA, Augsburg Fortress, other publishers and producers, and local congregations, both leaders and members.  Resource centers have served Lutheran congregations for many years. In the last 20 years we have seen this ministry spread from the East Coast through the Midwest to the West Coast, so that today there are approximately 70 Resource Centers serving congregations in almost every synod throughout the ELCA.

The Association of Lutheran Resource Centers was formed in 1996 to help resource center directors organize for better communication among themselves and for better coordination of continuing education for staff.
