Be a Piece of the Peace!

Register Today for the Northern Uganda Lobby Day

For more than two decades, the people of Northern Uganda have suffered at the hands of a brutal rebel force, the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA). More than 80% of civilians in the region, a total of 1.7 million civilians, are currently displaced and live in squalid camps without access to basic resources. Children have suffered most – representing more than half of the internally displaced population and more than 60,000 have been abducted and forced to be child soldiers.

You can be a piece of the peace! The U.S. government has a critical role to play in helping to resolve the conflict in Northern Uganda. Your Congressional representatives need to hear from you. Join more than 1,000 citizen advocates February 24-26 to learn more about the conflict and lobby your Members of Congress. Click here to register today: http://www.ugandalobbyday.com/
