Crisis in Kenya

"The Lutheran World Federation appeals to the leaders of the two major political parties-the Party of National Unity and the Orange Democratic Movement-to urgently pursue constructive dialogue to end the impasse.

"I wish to express the Lutheran World Federation's strong support for the efforts of the ecumenical movement-under the leadership of the All Africa Conference of Churches-to
promote peace, ethnic and inter-religious harmony, democratic accountability and transparency, and national unity in the midst of this crisis."
