ELCA Advocacy For Darfur Is In the News!

As a part of ELCA advocacy efforts to stop the genocide in the Darfur region of Sudan, ELCA members and staff of the ELCA Washington Office were present Sunday at the "Rally to Stop Genocide" in Washington, D.C. The ELCA banner, members of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Vienna, Virginia, and Kim Stietz, director for international policy, were featured in a video segment on CBS news; and a quote from Stietz was featured in the Boston Globe.
