Action on CAFTA
(Central American Free Trade Agreement)
May 25, 2005 was Lutheran Day of Action on CAFTA!
On May 25, 2005 we encouraged Lutherans across the
country concerned about the effects of CAFTA on the United
States and Central America to call their members of Congress and
urge them to vote NO on CAFTA. We also encouraged Lutherans
to set up meetings with their members of Congress or their staff
for May 25 to talk to them directly about CAFTA.
