The Interreligious Working Group for Domestic Human Needs is an interfaith coalition of national faith-based organizations.  These organizations work together on a domestic human needs agenda including such topics as: housing, TANF (temporary assistance for needy families), budget and tax policy, childcare, and others listed below.

The ELCA policy documents specifically addressing poverty and these other issues include the church's social statement on economic life, Sufficient Sustainable Livelihood for All, and in some cases the church's message on Homelessness.
