This site is dedicated to greater national availability for rostered lay leaders in the ELCA. Any information posted will be accessible only to synod staff members in all of the 65 synods. They will use this information to make connections between lay rostered persons seeking a new call and those congregations, institutions, and agencies who have positions available. Please stay in communication with your synod as they assist you in this process.

Associates in Ministry, Diaconal Ministers and Deaconesses of the ELCA can use this database to submit the Availability for Call form. Selected information will be used from the form to create a brief personal resume. After it has been approved by the synod in which you are presently rostered or to which you are assigned as a first-call candidate, it will be accessible to all 65 synod offices. A copy of your resume will be sent to you by email.

Congregations, Instituitions and Agencies of the ELCA can use this database to submit information about your organization and the kinds of positions you are trying to fill with Associates in Ministry, Diaconal Ministers or Deaconesses of the ELCA. This information will also be accessible to all of the 65 synod offices. You will be notified by email when your position description has been approved and posted.
