Home : How ELCA Good Gifts work

The ministries of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America are vital and do make a difference.  Projects have been selected to present a varied picture of our ministry together at home and with our global companion churches.  Gift amounts symbolically represent our work and are intended to illustrate the difference you can make in the world.  The ministries featured on the ELCA Good Gifts site, and many more, are supported by your regular Sunday morning offering.  ELCA Good Gifts are another way you can help make a significant impact to the mission of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Give ELCA Good Gifts by selecting your favorite ministry.  Enter the amount of your gift in the donation field. Consider making an additional gift to Vision for Mission, the annual churchwide offering, to support and strengthen the core ministries of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Give another gift or proceed to checkout.  Complete the gift transaction by providing your personal and billing information.  To give an ELCA Good Gift in honor or memory of a loved one, select this option while checking out.  Enter the person’s name in the entry field provided.  Read more below about sending tribute cards.

Tell your loved ones what good you are bringing to this world with your ELCA Good Gift.  Send an electronic card or print a downloadable .pdf tribute card.  These cards also serve as a great way to notify friends and family of gifts made in honor or in memory of a loved one.  Browse the tribute cards.

Your gift, along with others, provides hope to others and will make a significant impact here at home and around the world as we seek to be about God's mission for the sake of the world.
